SERVICES
Intermediaries, supplier databases, certifications, the occasional flying visit: managing origin from a distance does not hold. What is missing is someone who goes there and knows how to read the operation.
FROM ITALY · TO THE WORLD
For importers of Italian food
You buy finished products from Italian producers. I am your person in Italy: I find suppliers worth trusting, audit the ones you use, run your product launches, and catch problems before shipment.
FROM ORIGIN · TO YOUR FACILITY
For food manufacturers and brands
You buy raw materials from distant origins, often through intermediaries. I go to the source to qualify and monitor producers, check declarations against the fields, and build supply relationships that hold.

IN ITALY OR AT ORIGIN
CHECK · FSVP-READY
Supplier Audit
Technical audit of a supplier on site. Not a checklist audit: the value is in the technical interpretation.

· Review of food safety plan, certificates and records against the requirements of your market
· Interviews at every level of the operation
· Red / Amber / Green risk rating with supporting evidence and photos
· Audit report in English, 10–15 pages, with corrective actions

CHECK
Compliance
Proof that your supply chain matches what you declare under regulations and voluntary standards, checked at the farm and in the processing plant.
Scope set on the regulation or standard to check

· Field check of declared data: plots, practices, traceability, records.
· Gap report with priorities and corrective actions.
· Optional on-site support until the gaps are closed.

For when the supply you need does not exist yet: built with you, from the first producer.
One or more seasons
· Producer selection and first agreements.

IN DEPTH · FSVP
Importing into the United States
Under the FDA’s Foreign Supplier Verification Program, the US importer must verify that each foreign supplier meets US food safety standards, and keep the evidence. One accepted method is an onsite audit by a qualified auditor, including the supplier’s food safety plan. My Supplier Audit is designed for this: hazard-focused, documented, in English, ready for your FSVP records. Selling into other markets? Retail buyers there increasingly ask for the same evidence.
IN DEPTH · EUDR
Placing raw materials on the EU market
The EU Deforestation Regulation requires anyone placing cocoa, coffee, soy, palm oil, cattle, rubber or wood on the EU market to prove, plot by plot, that it was not grown on deforested land. For other raw materials, buyers ask for the same evidence through Rainforest Alliance, Regenerative Organic Certified, GLOBALG.A.P., organic and fair-trade or social standards. Compliance is designed for this: data checked where it is created, gaps found before a certifier or an authority finds them.
